Why is it Terrible?: At first, this purchase seemed to be an excellent choice. Maddox had come into Pittsburgh and taken over for the horribly erratic Kordell Stewart. He then led the Steelers to the second round of the 2002 playoffs. Like everyone else in Pittsburgh, I was on the Maddox bandwagon. I swear that the moment I went out and bought this jersey in the summer 2003, Maddox began to suck. I site the statistics of Maddox's 2003 and 2004 seasons as my evidence. I'll occasionally wear this piece of trash jersey to Steelers games just to give everyone in my section a good laugh.

Ugh. I read that as "the horribly erotic Kordell Stewart". I have grave concerns about my brain's freudian slips of late.
