I happened to catch Amanda Beard on Cold Pizza/First Take/Shitty Mid-Morning Show today after class where she was trying to promote her recent spread in Playboy. While I don't have a problem with her posing in Playboy, I have a problem with her reasoning for the shoot. While on First Take, Beard said that she did the shoot because she wanted to "let young girls know that they don't need to have the skinniest bodies to be beautiful". OK. So you went to Playboy to show that.? How about Cosmo Girl for that kind of info? I'm not sure how Playboy does in the young girl department. Seriously, just say that you did it for the money and you like to be naked. No reason to lie and say it was for "young girls everywhere". It just sounds pathetic.
