Well That Went About As Badly As Possible for the NBA

Not only did the NBA miss out on a possible goldmine with Greg Oden or Kevin Durant landing with either Boston or Philadelphia, but the two biggest NBA prospects in years will be heading to the basketball no man's land known as the Northwest. I guess this proves that the lottery isn't rigged, because this is about the worst possible scenario for the NBA. (Please let me know if anyone can find a video or picture of the Celtics fan with the Oden jersey. Now that jersey is what the Terrible Jersey HOF was made for)

(Thanks AA for the video)

That's actually really depressing... who wants to watch Portland or Seattle play all the time?

Man, I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Tankers never prosper. Karma's a bitch, folks. Maybe next time you'll play it out.

The only team I feel bad for in the East was Philly. That team actually tried to win games.

I agree....nothing against Seattle or Portland....but there is no doubt that Stern wanted at least 1 of those players to end up in Boston or Philly....heck, even Atlanta because they are an east coast team

The Basketball Gods hate tanking!!! (Think also when BOS tanked to try and get Duncan)

They also apparently love the NW.
