Pavano Needs To Give Away His "Hard Earned" Money

New York's nightmare appears to finally be over.

Carl Pavano is scheduled for Tommy John surgery on June 1st, ending his horribly disappointing Yankee career.

In case you are keeping track, it cost the Yankees $40 million for 19 below-mediocre starts from Carl.

Now, I am a firm believer in karma. If Carl somehow wants to try to stay and stay on the good side of karma, he needs to get rid of some of the money he "earned" while "playing" for the Yankees. Seriously, Carl needs to think about donating
millions to charity. This is the only possible way that this guy can live with himself for basically stealing millions of dollars. For Carl's sake, here is a link to the Top 10 charities in the US. Seriously man, consider it. I don't trust being on the bad side of karma, or Yankee fans.

I am a Yankees fan and to me, Carl Pavano is a dick...I understand players get injured, but this prick never tried to work through it....David Cone always had some type of ache or pain, but he never quit like Pavano

the guy needs TJ surgery you moron. it's not like he has a broken finger nail or a cold

Dr. James Andrews said he didn't need it.

oh yeah, I forgot.... those are reasons he missed all of last season. My mistake

rstiles -- He also didn't masturbate in the bullpen like Cone did.

anonymous #2 -- How stupid can you be? Andrews is PERFORMING the surgery, for crying out loud.

And you just let the Yankees off the hook for being dumb enough to offer him that contract in the first place? Sometims you reap what you sow.

Seriously, if stealing from the Yanks is wrong I don't want to be right. Carl grew up in CT, what are the odds he was a Sox fan all along?

Um... As far as offering him the contract... EVERYONE wanted Pavano after that World Series. Everyone.

Try looking at your GM, who has a penchant for acquiring damaged goods pitchers (Wright, Randy Johnson, Kevin Brown, Carl Pavano).

Someone on Deadspin calculated it at somewhere in the 10,000s per pitch.

don't be a tool. injuries are the nature of baseball. anyone remember belle's injury for baltimore?

besides, it's not like there's a salary cap that he's eating off of. and, as anonymous said, everyone and their mother wanted the vastly ovverrated pavano after 2003. for the last five years, it's been a pitcher's market. gil meche, $55 mil anyone?

I think we should let Pavano explain the whole thing instead of going with the media's angle on this one. Read his blog:
