JCMJ TERRIBLE JERSEY NOMINEE

Steve Spurrier Redskins Jersey
Owner: Unsilent Majority
Year It Was Purchased: January 14, 2002
Age When Purchased: Around 6800 days old
Jersey Category: Never Lived Up To The Hype / Should Have Known Better / Non-Player Jersey
Why Is It Terrible? How much time do we have? First of all this was a custom authentic jersey--not cheap. Ever wonder how The Danny could afford to pay the Ball Coach? --->This Guy<---. I grew up worshiping two forms of football, the kind played by the Washington Redskins and the kind played by the Florida Gators. I watched live on ESPN News when the news of Spurrier's departure was handed down and I was devastated. I knew he'd be heading to the NFL but I couldn't imagine a world in which he coached the Carolina Panthers. Then all of a sudden the rumor floated that the Skins could be interested, and why the hell not? Marty had already been there an entire season! Long story short, ten days later Danny whips out his over-sized novelty checkbook and I own a new jersey. At the time I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I loved Spurrier (still do) and I saw nothing wrong with wearing a Redskins jersey with his old playing number... at the time.
Got a terrible jersey? Let me hear about it at justcalljuice@gmail.com

This post is worthless without a picture of UM wearing the jersey and a frown.
If anyone has a Redskins Jay Schroeder jersey I'd be very interested in it...
while we're on the topic of non-player jerseys...
I have a custom Joe Torre Yankee's replica road jersey.
other embarrassing purchases...
Nick Johnson Yankee's batting practice jersey with his old number
Kenyon Martin home Nets jersey - no longer own, sold on eBay in the off-season before he was traded
Maybe the comment section isn't the best place to mention it, but I used to have an Isaiah Rider Timberwolves jersey. Is that terrible enough?
I bought a Ron Artest Pacers jersey that was retro style a MONTH before the Brawl at the Palace. I still have it because I'd probably get $1.00 back.
Three years ago me and a friend went to New York to see the Draft in person. Even though the MSG box office told us the night before that there were THOUSANDS OF TICKETS available, when we showed up at 5AM (I know I'm a loser, thank you) there were signs up saying the tickets had all been distributed. ESPN grabbed up the tickets to give to their sycophants and screwed the 500 or so people waiting outside.
Not sure where to go, we went to the goddam ESPN SportsZone. And we had to wait in line for 5 hours until the damn place opened at 11AM. I know, I'm an idiot. We started chatting with the other guys in line, including a St. Louis Rams fan, who was wearing his favorite jersey.
#21. Lawrence Phillips.
"If you're actually wearing a Lawrence Phillips jersey, I'm buyin'" my friend Mark said, and he duly took off his coat and showed his colors with pride. PHILLIPS, #21. Frickin' Awesome.
I have an authentic Ricky Williams jersey from the Toronto Argonauts.
It is totally awesome, even if there is no secret stash pocket like I was expecting.
I still have my Ki-Jana Carter Bengals jersey from 1995. I only break that baby out for special occasions like weddings and funerals at this point.
I have (drumroll please) an original red Patriots Tony Eason jersey! Bought it on ebay for $9.
Everyone thinks its a Bledsoe jersey until they see the nameplate. A real head turner.
Washington Capitals, #68, Jaromir Jagr. I have one in my closet... where it will likely remain until the End of Time.
Thank god I did not actually pay for it myself.
I cannot think of another hockey jersey which would be more embarrassing to own than this one.
culpepper jersey, miami dolphins. thank god i didn't but it, what a bunch of tools
my first ever jersey was a bryant "big country" reeves jersey.. i think it was vancouver grizzlies. i was in 8th grade. i got made fun of for it even then.. holy shit that was a bad choice.
chuck rogers, dee-troit lions....just a way sucky decision.
I own a Jeff Garcia Calgary Stampeders jersey. Since it's black and has number 7, it's frequently mistaken for a Vick jersey.
Jeff George Raiders jersey. Blah.
Black Flyers' Lindros. 88, with the "C". I bought it a month before he was stripped of the captaincy.
I still wear it...only when I play.
eric crouch, #89, st. louis rams
wow
I still have an old Koy Detmer CU jersey which I don't believe I should be faulted for since this was when he and CU were respectable, a Ricky Williams Saints jersey that I got when he was a rookie, and lastly, a Dale Carter Broncos jersey that I picked up after he signed.
Percy Harvin Jersey - Wearing it with pride every Saturday, 2008 Heisman Trophy Winner - You heard it here 1st. Go Gators!
