JCMJ Terrible Jersey Inductee

Ki-Jana Carter, Cincinnati Bengals
Owner: Larry Brown
Year It Was Purchased: 1995
Age When Purchased: 12 (with Bar-Mitzvah money)
Jersey Category: : Never Lived up to the Hype Jersey; Just Plain Outdated Jersey
Why Is It Terrible? : It's terrible because I really didn't want a Ki-Jana jersey. I just wanted a Bengals jersey. But the Bengals were so horrendous the year before, 3-13 for the 3rd time in 4 years, you couldn't find a Bengals jersey ANYWHERE. So I really had to settle for the only one I could find, that of their #1 overall pick in '95, Ki-Jana Carter. I made up for it a year or so later, purchasing a Carl Pickens jersey which I still own. To date, Pickens is still my favorite Bengals player all-time (with apologies to Icky, Boomer, and Corey Dillon). As for the Carter jersey, this is about the most use I've ever gotten out of it.

thank god I passed on that 1996 New York Jets Kyle Brady jersey
what an awful jersey. I still can't believe I own that thing.
Clevelanders try not to buy jerseys anymore, as we know this just encourages the curse...
Braylon, K-Dub, Bentley: all players we were high on and immediately consumed jerseys. Immediately afterward, well, you know the rest. *grumble, grumble*
Browns fan stucj with Couch and Rison jerseys. Can't pull the trigger on any new ones...II'm reduced to pulling out my Bernie jersey. But there's so many loses attached to it, it's hard to keep piling on that one. Brians Sipe jerseys are to hard to find, and cost too much coin.
how about the three Andy Katzenmoyer Patriots jerseys on ebay right now?
